See what life is like at the local public health level – this annual interactive event provides an opportunity to spend a day discussing scenarios and case studies with practitioners at the Cambridge Public Health Department.
Graduate public health students are invited to attend a free, half-day seminar at the Cambridge Public Health Department from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6.
Led by local public health experts, students discuss current scenarios to learn more about the “real life” challenges and opportunities, beyond their classroom training. The event includes:
- A career panel of local public health leaders and practitioners
- Three interactive workshops (students choose from Communication and the Opioid Overdose Epidemic; Uncertainty and Risk in Environmental Health; and Understanding the Role of Fatherhood in Public Health)
- Special guest Commissioner Monica Bharel, MD, MPH, Massachusetts Department of Public Health
- Breakfast and networking lunch
