Life on Albany Committee

Three portraits from the Life on Albany Gallery

Where SPH stands on Albany Street, we are neighbors to people who are challenged by substance abuse disorders, mental illness, and homelessness. Join us for a conversation with faculty, staff, students,  and, when available, experts from the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program along with other local service providers and the Boston University Medical Campus Public Safety. Learn about the situation on Albany Street, how it developed, and ways that we as an SPH community can be a good neighbor on Albany.

Our meetings typically take place on the first Wednesday of every month.

Upcoming meetings:

  • Wednesday, February 7th at 1 pm in Evans 720

Directions to Evans 720:
Enter the BU School of Medicine Instructional Building (72 E Concord Street) through the main doors and take a right at the Security Officer station. Walk down the long hallway in the direction of Keefer Auditorium (you are now in the Evans building). Take the SECOND elevator bank, located right before the Keefer Auditorium (there are 2 elevator banks on this hallway, do not take the first one!) Go to the 7th floor, and E720 will be right across the hall from the elevators.

Please register to join the Life on Albany Committee.
