Workforce Development

Champion smart, enduring training practices to develop and maintain a public health workforce fluent in advocacy.

Our goals for workforce training and development are: To EDUCATE and maintain a skilled public health workforce through university learning and training programs. To INNOVATE how these trainings are delivered because sharing resources, increasing cooperation and communication, and standardizing training practices will yield a stronger, better prepared local public health workforce. To ADVOCATE for sustainable, regional systems for the equitable delivery of local public health services across the Commonwealth.
